skȳmma is a multi-disciplinary collaborative studio that specializes in architecture, design and visualization. skȳmma inhabits the intersection of traditional arts and digital media and regardless of medium, at its core, are the foundations of architecture, urbanism and culture. skȳmma is fluent in its ability to translate ideas and design intent into descriptive, compelling imagery and media and shares this ability with a diverse set of international clients and collaborators. skȳmma strives to build ideas, as well as understand, describe and ultimately redefine our environment through innovative media, architecture and design.

The founding principal of skȳmma has 20 years of experience in architecture and has lived, worked and studied in New York, Paris and Hong Kong. His professional experience includes positions within the highly regarded international firms of KPF and OMA*AMO/Rem Koolhaas.

skȳmma: is a reference to a type of cognitive rule (or schema) which facilitate our understanding of our environment. Schemas are mental concepts which are used to recognize and develop an understanding of otherwise complex objects and ideas, Schemas describe a concept in its idealized form.
